CAMIT was established as Japan's first training center for robotic surgery in 2002.This training center has the world's most-advanced surgical robots and also provides doctors and medical students with education and training regarding the robotic surgery. In addition to training for the robotic surgery, it also plans to provide training for endoscopic surgery and life-support management. It will emphasize the training of doctors from Japan and overseas, especially in the Asia area, in the near future. Our objective is to make our institute a Center of Excellence (COE) for the world's most-advanced robotic medicine, and help spread state-of-the-art minimally invasive surgery techniques, all of the world and thereby positively contribute to human health and improve the welfare of all men.
